I posted about the new soccer/futbol magazine, Eight By Eight last week. After originally writing about it for Visual News, then posting it here as well, I became pretty familiar with the images. So when I saw this illustration on Pinterest, I thought it was such an intense resemblance to one of the images I had used with my article.
Well, after some, um, zooming in, I figured out it is the same illustrator and that is too cool.
Beautiful work on both pieces by illustrator Yuko Shimizu. The first comes from the DC Comics Vertigo series The Unwritten.
