My nightstand is currently being taken over by books I can't wait to read.
Right now I'm in the middle of Pieces of Light: How the New Science of Memory Illuminates the Stories We Tell About Our Pasts by Charles Fernyhough. Each chapter takes about as long to read as my one-way commute to work so I've been slowly getting through it. Pieces of Light is definitely interesting—how could memories not be?—but I've kind of been aching for something that's more of a story.
Perfect timing because Pain, Parties, Work and Serving Victoria just came in the mail two days ago.
