REDESIGNED: The SoulPancake Book

I love Rainn Wilson's community website SoulPancake, "a place to speak your mind, unload your questions and figure out what it means to be human" and would really love to own The SoulPancake Book. I flipped through it at a bookstore last week and it is just as beautiful in person as it is on the internet.

Recently, Rainn teamed up with Threadless to challenge designers to recreate the book's cover.

I really enjoy the original design but think the winning design is great as well. The original is a more cohesive idea with the inside pages, though (seen HERE). Honorable mentions from the contest can be viewed on the Threadless website.
