Composition Leggings from Out of Print

Could I wear only leggings for the rest of my life? Probably. Right now, I'm obsessed with my DearKates but these could be the new loves of my life.

Out of Print has released their first leggings... in composition notebook print.

Perfect for Back to School, and/or every day of my life.

Buy a pair here.

Library Card pouches from Out of Print

Out of Print has done it again.

They've put lovely book covers and book related patterns onto useful items. Pretty soon, everything I own is going to be book-related (I'm not mad).

They just released a line of little pouches that are great for just about anything.

Personally, I love the library card collection.

And this Very Hungry Caterpillar pouch would be great as a back-to-school gift for kids. I know it is only the beginning of summer but my office is already being bombarded with back-to-school swag so I can't help but think of new school supplies.
There's a handful more patterns to choose from. What's your favorite? I think the Poe heads are kind of funny.

And have you been following my haiku project

Out of Print eBook Jackets

I've always been a big fan of Out of Print, a clothing and accessories shop that puts the most beautiful vintage book titles onto products you feel like you have to own. Plus, they're partnered with Books for Africa, a non-profit doing some great things for world literacy.

Now, Out of Print has launched a Kickstarter campaign to "put the 'book' back into eBooks" by creating hardcover cases for iPad, Kindle Fire and Nexus 7. Yes, please.

There are 18 days left to go in the project, and although they've already passed the required funding, every dollar helps make a better product. I can't wait to see these made and grab one for my iPad. I think my favorite right now is The Wizard of Oz.

More Out of Print love,
and more Kickstarter projects I've enjoyed.

Conversation piece

I've always coveted an Out of Print shirt or two, but I had no idea they made iPhone cases until I stumbled upon them over on Mod Cloth.
It's great to see a combination of iconic classic covers along with Mikey Burton's design for " To Kill a Mockingbird" on these cases.

Check out the entire Out of Print store HERE, or jump straight to the iPhone cases.

More Mikey

Alright, more Mikey Burton. This time, his thesis project: book covers aimed at junior high students. I've always loved these covers but never knew who made them. High-five all around, especially for the type.
You can buy Mikey's designs in t-shirt form over at Out of Print Clothing. Sweet.

Christmas List

So, this is basically the Christmas list I sent my parents this year, per their requests. I warned them it was going to mostly be books. Plus, a film scanner, a new pair of TOMS and an Out of Print sweatshirt.

For the details on the books on my list, click through the jump.

Out Of Print Sweatshirts!

I've always been a fan of Out of Print clothing, book covers on t-shirts are a winning combination, but I didn't realize sweatshirts were an option. Perfect for November.
