Drinkable Book from Water is Life

Four years ago, I traveled to Kenya to work with The Samburu Project on their water initiatives in Wamba. I've stayed connected to the organization, which has since drilled 63 wells in the region, providing water to over 60,000 people. It has been incredible to see just how amazing the impact of clean, accessible water is to these families, especially the women.

Working with TSP has truly opened my eyes to water issues internationally. Another organization that has caught my eye is Water is Life. One of their latest projects, The Drinkable Book, really has me excited about both the work happening in the water world and the attention being brought to these issues.


The Drinkable Book is a manual that is not only an educational piece filled with safe water tips, it serves as a tool to help provide safe water. Seems a bit magical, doesn't it?

The senior designer on the project, Brian Gartside, shared a detailed look into how the book works on his portfolio.
