". Truth be told, I probably wasn't old enough for it at the time, but that collection seems to have become a summer staple for me. One year, my best friend even dropped my copy in Lake Michigan and it somehow survived. I few weeks ago I asked my Tumblr followers if they had any go-to books in the summer, or any specific author they seemed to fall into reading each year. I thought it was interesting what answers were duplicated and similar to my own (ahem, Harry Potter), and also that there were books and authors I had never even heard of. I put together a mini round-up that includes most everyone's answers. Hopefully everyone will discover something they've never read before or rediscover an old favorite.
