Field Notes Love

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, and my true love always being a beautiful notebook, I have to share this video created by Coudal for Field Notes Red Blooded (as a bonus, they're both Chicago-based).

I'm still a little torn on the Moleskine issue, but Field Notes has definitely become my replacement as No. 1 choice for notebooks.

Moleskine + Le Petit Prince

Moleskine always finds new wonderful things to merge with. In February, they released the Limited Edition Le Petit Prince Moleskine Collection.

I don't believe this is currently available in the US yet, but I expect it should be shortly. What a cute notebook. This definitely inspired me to pull out my old copy of "The Little Prince" and read a few chapters.

Moleskine Cover Art collection

When I saw one of the notebooks from the Moleskine Cover Art collection in the store the other day, I did a double take. I was a brat about them at first, claiming Moleskines should only have black covers and even their color line was a mistake but after my tantrum subsided I decided this is a pretty fantastic concept.
"Benjamin Barrios, Paul Desmond and Maykel Cordeiro Nunes are the three artists who have been selected by Moleskine to start the Cover Art Collection. Available in three different layouts--ruled, squared and with plain pages--the notebook covers reproduce drawings from their sketchbooks. The Cover Art notebooks feature Singer sewn binding. For each image used, Moleskine will make a donation to a different non-profit organisation chosen by the artist."

REMINDERS: Rainbow Connection

I came across this photo of assorted Penguin covers and my mind went straight to this pack of Moleskine planners I've loved ever since they came out a few years ago.


P.S. My favorite and first cover for "Rabbit, Run" is in that photo. How awesome!
